Hey guys, I’ve restored grove from a backup and have it running on a temporary server while we wait for the new server to arrive. I will not be restoring the other servers or the website yet on this machine.
For now everything should work as you’re used to and there should be no data loss.
As for compensation for vote keys, I will wait a bit with that as well. Once we have the full server back up and running that will be done.
Claims are set to expire 110 days from last login that will be scaled back overtime to 60 when we have the full server back.
Since the old server is still making backups for grove and the database, I can’t simply backup to the same location. For now there will be no backups. I will figure out a way to work around that tomorrow so we’re back to our normal standard of backups, but keep that in mind while playing!
Update:
Homes are from around June due to a mistake causing CMI not being backed up. This also means money is from June but we have logs with the last amount everyone had so we will restore it from there tomorrow. It will be compared to whatever amount you have at the time of the transfer so you can use it like normal today, only the difference will be added. If you have more than you had, please ensure you don’t end up in the negatives as that will cause more work for staff.
