March PvP Event!

Happy Spring everyone! I hope you’ve all been doing wonderfully this March and are excited for 1.13! For March, we are going to be hosting a 1v1 PvP event on Altitude. It will be taking place on Saturday, March 31st at 3pm EST.

The event will be taking place in a separate world, so there’s no way to prepare with your own gear or bring anything into the event. Everyone will have the same gear. There will be an area for spectating, and even if you don’t PvP regularly, it would still be fun to watch or just try your hand at it for fun. Hope to see you there!

You must sign up to participate! To sign up, visit the pier in spawn (stone brick walkway going around the water) and find the events board!

New YouTube Channel!

We have a new YouTube channel! For the past few years I’ve been uploading all of Altitude’s videos to my personal channel. Moving forward, all Altitude related videos will go onto a dedicated channel, that way the content is separated and consistent. Hopefully, we can also expand upon this channel and try out new things in the future: like inviting other content creators to contribute, featuring stuff created by our community, and more?

It doesn’t have any views or subscribers, so it needs some love!

Change in Plans for World Download

It has come to our attention that some people could have malicious intent with the world download, especially if we were to make it available immediately after updating. For this reason, we’ve decided to alter our plan slightly: The 1.12 world will be available for download 3 months after we update to 1.13. If you would like to download your build before this time you may use the Schematica mod (http://bit.ly/2F4BLKs) to download your build as a schematic. Schematics can be pasted into any world or server with WorldEdit.

The Schematica mod also allows you to load a guide in-game showing you exactly where to place all the blocks in order to re-create a build that you have saved. You are welcome to use this feature to recreate your builds in the new world if you would like.
