Patreon & Donator Updates!
Our goal has always been to give our supporters something special to thank them for their support, without giving them an unfair advantage over other players. I’ve always believed the purpose of donating is to support the server you enjoy and show appreciation for the effort that the team behind it all puts in every day.
With our team growing, and new ideas sparking, we’re looking to bring Altitude to the next level, and we need your support to do that! A lot of new content is on the way, and some of it is already in place (shoutout to GrownUpDisney and MrShack for bringing us awesome server events every month), and none of this would be possible without the resources necessary – a solid server, active staff and community, and, yes, a budget.
So today we begin adding new content to our Patreon tiers, Donor ranks, and donation store. First and foremost: We’re going to start adding loads of exclusive content for our Patreons! This month, Patreons are going to have access to an economy beta once shops are up and running, and they will be the first ones to open up public shops on the server so they can test out the new features. Patreons are also going to have access to EVERY Emoticon on the server, no matter what tier they choose! Donor ranks will also unlock the Emoticons that can be used in-game. The higher your rank, the more you unlock (unless you’re a Patreon). Finally, the Ultimate rank has been updated and now gets 12 survival homes.
Patreon ranks will also be much cheaper, now priced at 1/5 the cost of the respective rank they would earn. So, if you want to pledge a monthly donation and earn the Donor rank, you only need to pledge $3/m. For Platinum, $10/m. We hope that these price changes will add more value to supporting the server on a monthly basis, which provides us with a more steady and reliable source of income!
